Bahraini-US relations discussed

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): Advisor to His Majesty the King for Diplomatic Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received in his office at Gudaibiyah Palace today Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Gulf Affairs in the Near East Bureau, at the US Department of State, Timothy Lenderking. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa welcomed him, stressing keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to boost historical relations and strategic alliance between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA to serve common interests. He also praised the efforts made by the USA to maintain international peace and security. Mr. Timothy Lenderking affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is considered as a main partner of the USA which is always keen on bilateral cooperation and coordination regarding issues of common interest. He lauded Bahrain’s role in promoting collective regional and international work for the best interest of all.
