Bahraini women’s strides hailed

Manama, Dec.6 (BNA): Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission (LLOC) Chief Chancellor Nawaf Abdulla Hamza hailed Bahraini women’s strides in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He made the statement as he addressed a ceremony marking the Bahraini Women’s Day, being held this year under the theme: "Women in the Legislative Field and Municipal Work". He lauded women’s landmark success in the parliamentary and municipal elections, which were held recently in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He hailed the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President. He highlighted Bahrain’s legislative and municipal work, hailing democratic strides under the pioneering reform project led by HM the King. He paid tribute to Bahraini women who represent an indispensable partner in national development. Chancellor Hamza honoured women advisors, hailing their role and dedicated contribution to enhancing LLOC legal work.
