Bahrain's Ambassador to Egypt receives Presidency Secretary

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): Bahrain's Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt also the Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, has received Secretary of the Egyptian Presidency, Abdulaziz Al-Sharif, who conveyed congratulations of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt to Bahrain's King His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, government and people marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 45th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 17th Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne. The ambassador conveyed greetings of HM the King, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to Egyptian President, government and people and wishes of further progress and prosperity. He pointed out the solid deep-rooted Bahraini-Egyptian relations in light of the current regional security challenges, the need to continue security cooperation to maintain the region's stability, as well as combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
