Bahrain's Ambassador to US participates in UANI Forum

Washington, Nov. 14 (BNA): The United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) organization hosted Bahrain's Ambassador to the U.S. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, as a speaker in its annual event.
Senior political figures and members of the US Senate from both parties, most notably Democratic Senator Robert Menendez and Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, attended the event.
The ambassador highlighted the security threats and challenges at the regional and international levels and stressed Bahrain's endeavors in preserving the navigational movement in the Arabian Gulf through many alliances with countries.
Shaikh Abdullah called on the concerned countries to intensify efforts against potential dangers and affirmed the priority of protecting people and verifying the influence of Iran’s proxies whose behavior constitutes a threat to the region.
The ambassador indicated that Bahrain's foreign policy whose foundations were laid by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, places the interests of the citizen at the top of its priorities.
He praised countries that have deep commitment to their citizens and that emphasize security and stability as the two basic pillars for maintaining the well-being of their people, calling on all countries to adopt such stances.
Shaikh Abdullah praised the depth of the relations between Bahrain and the United States of America, and the international cooperation in addressing the security challenges faced by the countries of the Middle East and the world in general.
He expressed the Kingdom’s aspiration to continue unifying ranks and to boost security and strategic cooperation.
