Bahrain's Capital Governorate to mark national celebrations

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa said the Governorate will organize 12 artistic, cultural and sport activities to mark Bahrain’s celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 47th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 18th Anniversary of HM the King's Accession to the Throne.  The Governor lauded the private institutions’ promotion to the activities, which stems from their commitment to promote social partnership.
