Bahrain's Foreign Affairs Minister receives AJC delegation

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on Thursday received members of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), headed by John Shapiro. The minister welcomed the AJC members, reviewing the deep-rooted relations of friendship between Bahrain and the United States, that stem from historical relations, strategic alliances and respect. He also stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to bolster cooperation with the US in various fields, for the common interest of the two countries. The AJC members expressed their pride to have met with the minister, noting the constant development of joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US. They also wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. Regional and international issues of common concern were also discussed during the meeting.
