Bahrain's Foreign Minister meets Mauritanian counterpart

New York, Sept.26 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, on the sidelines of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly UNGA-73 in New York.
They discussed the brotherly relations between the two countries and means of strengthening them in various fields in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern, in light of the harmonious visions and joint endeavors to promote security and peace in the region and the world.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa also met the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and expressed the aspiration of the Kingdom of Bahrain to push its relations with the Republic of Croatia to broader horizons and develop joint cooperation in all fields, for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
Marija Pejčinović stressed that the Republic of Croatia attaches great importance to strengthening relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain and investing in all opportunities to strengthen these relations for the benefit of the two countries, hailing the progress and achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain at various levels.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also met with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Greece, Nikos Kotzias, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and develop bilateral relations, thus contributing to the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern, stressing the importance of ensuring coordination between the two countries on these issues at various forums to support joint efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
