Bahrain's Information Minister receives Arab Media Forum Secretary General

Manama, Jan. 14 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi, received Secretary General of the Arab Media Forum Madi Al Khamees. The minister stressed the importance of activating the Arab media role in achieving intellectual security to face the common challenges that aim at the stability, cohesion, cultural identity of the Arab nation, and its economic progress. Al Rumaihi lauded the forum role in boosting the joint Arab media and contributing to the efforts to enhance understanding among the elites in the Arab countries. Al Khamees expressed his appreciation to the minister for his interest in enhancing media cooperation with the Arab Media Forum, and his keenness to activate the Arab media role in preserving Arab cultural identity, preparing and qualifying youth media cadres based on professionalism and commitment to values and ethics.
