Bahrain's initiatives to promote peaceful coexistence highlighted

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): Secretary-General of Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations, Betsy Mathieson, has praised the initiatives undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in promoting freedoms, embracing various religions and ensuring the practice of religious rites within an amicable and fraternal community for centuries. Mathieson stressed that the establishment of a Full Professorship Chair, in the field of peaceful coexistence at Italy’s leading university, in the name of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, will have a great impact in shedding light on the experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in boosting peaceful coexistence among religions, sects and nationalities within a harmonious social fabric.
