Bahrain's Interior Minister congratulated on top award

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan congratulated Interior Minister Lieutenant Genera Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on winning the 2018 Personality of the Year Award, which was conferred by the US-based Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E. International) in recognition of his success in combating violence and addiction. He described the honour as a tribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its efforts to protect the community from violence and drug addiction through awareness programmes. The Labour and Social Development Minister stressed that the award is considered as a high profile international recognition of the Interior Minister's remarkable efforts to bring about diverse achievements and launch numerous initiatives to boost security stability and peace in Bahrain. He wished the Interior Minister every success to continue the development march under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
