Bahrain's Interior Minister congratulated on top award

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Eng. Esam bin Abdullah Khalaf sent a cable of congratulations to Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on receiving the Personality of the Year Award 2018 and being honoured by the US-based Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E. International). The honour was conferred in recognition of the success achieved by "Ma'an" programme in combating violence and addiction. The Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning Minister said this success reflects the Interior Minister's unrelenting efforts to foster the Bahraini inherent values through pioneering initiatives. He affirmed that the honour is an international recognition of Bahrain's efforts to boost preemptive measures to protect the youth from violence and drug abuse. He wished Bahrain constant security and stability in the prosperous era of HM the King.
