Bahrain's keenness on achieving peace, supporting Palestinian rights stressed

Manama, Sept. 12 (BNA): Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa stressed the steadfast stances of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in supporting the Palestinian cause and preserving the rights of the Palestinian people. Shaikh Salman pointed out that the agreement to establish diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Israel is a historic and significant step towards achieving peace in the Middle East and ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. He affirmed that the kingdom’s unwavering stances have always placed the Palestinian cause at the top of Bahrain’s priorities by underlining the right of the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights. The SCYS Secretary General underscored keenness of HM the King on achieving just and comprehensive peace in the region, which embodies the kingdom’s contribution to promoting the culture of peace and peaceful coexistence in the world.
