Bahrain's Minister of Industry holds emergency meeting with Consumer Protection Department

Manama, (BNA): In implementation of the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to review the Value Added Tax (VAT) mechanisms during the trial phase, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, chaired an emergency meeting with the Consumer Protection Department on price control procedures and the exemptions of basic goods and services from VAT.
