Bahrain's peaceful coexistence efforts reflect HM King's vision

London, May 12 (BNA): A Bahraini delegation representing King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence and This is Bahrain Society has stressed the need to empower young people in the field of community dialogue and peaceful coexistence among different religions and cultures worldwide.
Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Centre's Chairman, said that Bahrain is always seeking to spread the culture of peace and peaceful coexistence through various means.
Cooperation with various institutions in Britain confirms the convergence of the visions and objectives affirmed by His Majesty the King at various forums, he added.
Shaikh Khalid was speaking as the Duke of York Prince Andrew received in Cumberland Lodge, Windsor, the delegation, teachers and students from King Hamad Chair for Inter-religious Dialogue and Peaceful Co-existence at the University of Sapienza in Italy, Bahrainis studying in the United Kingdom, and British students.
Prince Andrew praised Bahrain's efforts in promoting peaceful coexistence values that reflected HM the King's vision in his speeches and initiatives.

The Kingdom's delegation provided a detailed explanation of the Bahraini experience in the areas of peaceful coexistence and pluralism within the Bahraini society, based on societal and cultural principles that emphasise the need to respect religions and cultures in a democratic and interactive environment that ensures a fair representation of rights and duties.
