Bahrain's security bodies' high competence lauded

Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani hailed high competence and the outstanding capabilities of the Interior Ministry's security bodies in Bahrain which enabled them to foil an attempt to smuggle out to Iran by the sea terrorists who had escaped from the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre in Jau. In an interview with Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the GCC Secretary General congratulated Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and all the ministry's personnel on success of the comprehensive security operation carried out by the security bodies competently and which thwarted the plot of the fugitive terrorists and their supporting parties. He lauded the successful plan and implementation of the security operation which demonstrated that any tampering with Bahrain's security and stability will be doomed to failure. He also praised vigilance of the Bahraini security bodies and their high competence in standing firm against all attempts to spark chaos and violence, terrorize people and tamper with the kingdom's security and stability. The GCC Secretary General affirmed constant support of the GCC countries to Bahrain in all measures taken to protect its people and defend its sovereignty and stability.
