Bahrain's Speaker congratulates Sudanese counterpart

Manama, Dec. 31 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has sent a cable of congratulations to her Sudanese National Assembly counterpart, Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Omer, on his country’s Independence Day. The speaker expressed sincere congratulations to the brotherly Sudanese people, wishing Sudan many happy returns of the occasion, and further progress and prosperity. She also lauded the distinguished fraternal Bahraini-Sudanese relations in various parliamentary fields.
