Bahrain's Speaker hails royal directives

Manama, Dec. 30 (BNA): After meeting today with HM the King, Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, said that HM the King attached great significance to cooperation between legislative and executive branches, national unity, meeting citizens’ aspirations and promoting the democratic process in line with the royal reforms and constitutional practices. The Speaker praised the unlimited royal support for the Council of Representatives and his vision for doubling up efforts to bring more achievements in the interest of the homeland and citizens in cooperation with the Shura Council and government chaired by HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. She stressed keenness to enhance cooperation and national spirit during the fifth legislative term, underlining to continue cooperation with various national institutions and segments of the Bahraini community.
