Bahrain's support to Syrian refugees praised

Gaziantep, Apr. 29 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Dr. Mustaf Al-Sayed Al-Ameen, met the Deputy Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Syria Crisis, Ramesh Rajasingham, on the sidelines of a conference on humanitarian support for the Syrian people, held here. Dr. Al-Sayed reviewed the development projects implemented by RCO for brotherly Syrian refugees based on their needs inside and outside camps, highlighting Bahrain’s role in providing relief aid to Syrians. Upon directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and following the support of the government, RCO, led by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has delivered many aid shipments to Syrian refugees, and implemented many development projects, citing the Bahrain Scientific Complex which includes four schools at the Al-Zaatari Camp, two Bahrain Housing Complexes, the Bahrain Social Creativity Centre and the Bahrain Basic Education School for Girls in Erbed. Ramesh Rajasingham lauded HM King Hamad’s support to the Syrian refugees, and the efforts of the Bahraini government and people to provide relief aid to them, praising the development projects from which many Syrian refugees benefit. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King and guide him on the right path for his charitable and humanitarian work, wishing Bahrain further security, progress and prosperity.
