Bahrain's Traffic director hails women’s role

Manama, Nov.28 (BNA): The Director-General of Traffic Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al-Khalifa valued the role of Bahraini women in promoting the traffic services and operations during a ceremony to mark the Bahraini Women's Day that is celebrated annually on December 1. During the ceremony, the female officers and employees were honoured to appreciate their efforts and contributions in the development of various traffic departments. The Director-General hailed the role of the Supreme Council for Women and its Chairwoman, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa in woman empowerment in all fields. He also stressed the dedication of the General Director of Traffic to implement the guidance of the Interior Minister to encourage women to prove their capabilities in promoting the safety of road users.
