Bahrain's unwavering support to Palestinian issue stressed

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal received today visiting Palestinian teachers at Jerusalem schools at Al Aqsa Mosque Khadija Khewis and Hanadi Al Halwani. The meeting was attended by a delegation from Supporting Palestine Association. The Speaker affirmed Bahrain's unwavering stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and people, stressing that the Israeli violations, which are in breach of international laws and resolutions, will not change the reality concerning the Palestinian people's rights. She also paid tribute to the Palestinian women for their resistance and sacrifice in defending the Palestinian state, people and sanctities. She also reiterated keenness of the Representatives Council to support the Palestinian issue in international parliamentary gatherings. On their part, the two Palestinian teachers commended the kingdom's honourable and inherent stance in supporting the Palestinian cause, praising the royal role and keenness in this regard. They also lauded contribution of the Bahraini women, stressing resolve to continue working tirelessly to achieve the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
