Bahrain's Works Minister meets Northern Municipal Council chairman

Manama, (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf stressed the importance of partnership in marking decisions, prioritising projects, programmes and development services. He made the statement as he received Northern Municipal Council Chairman Ahmed Kooheji, in the presence of Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Dr. Nabeel Mohammed Abul Fateh, Northern Municipality director-general Lamia Youssef Al-Fadhala and other officials. The minister congratulated the Northern Municipal Council chairman on his appointment, wishing him success in performing his duties, stressing keenness on reaching out to all municipal councils which represent people’s will. He discussed with Ahmed Kooheji the transfer of the Northern Council to the new location at Al-Reef Mall in the area of Al-Malkiya. He commended the royal directives issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to support the municipal councils, paying tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
