Banks to Close on March 4th

Doha, February 26 (QNA) - Qatar Central Bank (QCB) today announced that all banks and financial institutions under the control of QCB will be closed to the public on Sunday, March 4th. A press release issued by Qatar Central Bank said the closure is pursuant to the Council of Ministers Decision of the year 2009 stipulated that the first Sunday of March each year shall be an official holiday for all banks operating in the State of Qatar.
