BCCI attends pan-Arab meeting

Cairo, May 24 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) took part in a consultative coordination meeting which brought together heads of GCC and Arab unions, Bahrain-based UNIDO directors and the Egyptian Ambassador. Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit chaired the session which focused on the second edition of the Entrepreneurship Competition "Arab Rally". The contest is supported by the Arab League and jointly organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Federation of Arab Chambers, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, United Nations Industrial Development Organization office (UNIDO - Bahrain). Present were BCCI Chairman, GCC Chambers Union Chief Sameer Abdulla Nass, Arab League Assistant Secretary General, Economic Affairs Section Chief Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali, Arab Academy President Dr. Ismael Abdul Ghaffar and other officials. Nass presented a commemorative gift to the Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit, wishing the Arab League success in supporting pan-Arab political and economic work.
