BDF Chief receives US Defence Security Cooperation Agency director

Manama, Oct.28 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa today received Director of the Defence Security Cooperation Agency Heidi Grant and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi. The BDF Chief welcomed the US official, hailing historic relations and friendship binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA, focusing on ways of further strengthening steadily-growing ties in all fields, particularly defence and military cooperation. In attendance were Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah, Royal Bahrain Airforce Commander Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, BDF planning and armament director Major-General Shaikh Salman bin Khalid Al-Khalifa and other senior officers.
