BDF Chief of Staff attends IDEX 2019

Manama, Feb. 18(BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi yesterday attended the 14th edition of International Defence Exhibition and Conference, IDEX 2019, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC, in the United Arab Emirates. The event attracted up to 1310 exhibitors representing leading international companies from different countries in the world. The BDF chief toured different pavilions which showcased cutting edge military systems, stressing landmark technological strides that contribute to consolidating regional security and serving global peace. Lt-Gen. Al-Nuaimi met UAE Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Hamad Mohammed Al-Romaithi and Italian Defence Ministry’s Italian Defence Ministry director Nicolo Falsaperna. Lt-Gen. Al-Nuaimi returned this evening to Bahrain after attending IDEX 2019.
