BDF Commander-in-Chief attends Bridge 19 drill conclusion

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa attended today the concluding stage of the joint maritime drill "Bridge 19" which was conducted by the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF) and the Eastern Fleet of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces.  The BDF Commander-in-Chief was received on arrival at RBNF by Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, the Saudi Naval Forces Mission Commander, senior BDF officers and officers from the Saudi Eastern Fleet. He listened to a briefing on the stages of the military exercise which included many field applications. He welcomed all participants in the drill and conveyed to them the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. He also expressed appreciation of their participation in the important drill, which is one of a series of exercises which has continued for more than 18 years, wishing them success. The BDF Commander-in Chief thanked the Saudi Royal Naval Forces Eastern Fleet personnel for their cooperation in carrying out joint maritime operations and boosting competence to confront challenges to regional security and stability.
