BDF Commander-in-chief receives UK's Defence Senior Adviser to Middle East

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF General Command today, UK's Defence Senior Adviser to the Middle East, Lieutenant-General Sir John Lorimer. Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were present. The commander-in-chief lauded the distinguished long-standing solid Bahrain-UK relations, praising the ongoing cooperation between the two friendly kingdoms across various fields, particularly regarding their exchange of expertise and cooperation in the military field. Director of the BDF General Command’s Court, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering, Rear Admiral Yousef Ahmed Malallah, and a number of senior BDF officers also attended the meeting.
