BDF personnel handed over housing units ownership documents

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): Held under his patronage, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier has deputized Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa to attend the distribution ceremony of the documents of the housing units in Salman City, in the Northern, on the beneficiaries from BDF. The celebration was held today in conjunction with the 52nd BDF anniversary. On arrival, the BDF Commander-in-Chief was welcomed by Minister of Defence Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Defence Ministry Undersecretary Major General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and senior officers. After a recitation of some verses from the Holy Quran, Director of Supply and Catering Major General Ali Saqr Al Nuaimi delivered a speech on the occasion. Then, the BDF Commander-in-Chief presented the beneficiaries with their housing units’ documents. He extended sincerest thanks and respect to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, for the donation to the BDF affiliates, commending the royal directives to provide citizens with decent housing. The BDF Commander-in-Chief emphasised keenness of BDF on carrying out the royal directives by prioritising the housing services in its development and modernisation plans. He pointed out the ongoing efforts to implement housing projects for the BDF personnel in order to provide them with a decent life and guarantee their social stability. He congratulated the beneficiaries, stressing keenness of the General Command to provide every support to the BDF affiliates. The ceremony was attended by Housing Minister Eng. Bassim bin Yaqoob Al Hamar and senior BDF officers.
