BDF Taskforce contingent honoured

Manama, Jan. 20(BNA): A ceremony was held this evening at the Isa Airbase in honour of a Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) contingent which participated in the Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen, as part of the Saudi-led Arab Alliance. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Royal Guard Commander Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, who delegated Royal Guard Deputy Commander Major-General Hamad Khalifa Al-Nuaimi to welcome and honour the BDF taskforce. The Royal Guard Deputy Commander presented the medals, which were conferred by His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander, on a number of officers, commissioned officers and the BDF taskforce, in recognition of their dedicated patriotic efforts and fraternal role, standing alongside their brethren in defending the right, professionalism, high combative morale and discipline in fulfilling their noble mission. The ceremony was attended by a number of BDF senior officers and families of the participants in the BDF taskforce contingent.
