BIAS 2018 success hailed

Manama, Nov.17(BNA): National Communication Centre (NCC) Acting Chief Executive Officer, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) director-general Ahmed Mohammed Al-Mannai hailed the success of the fifth edition of the Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS 2018).
The event was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and with directives from HM the King’s Personal Representative, Chairman of BIAS High Organising Committee HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
Al-Mannai hailed the efforts exerted by BIAS 2018 High Organising and other executive committees, which contributed to promiting the Kingdom of Bahrain to rank among advanced countries in the sector of world aeronautical exhibitions.
He extended congratulations to HM the King, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister and HM King’s Personal Representative, Chairman of BIAS High Organising Committee.
Al-Mannai commended the directives, which were issued by Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi to use all the ministry’s media capabilities to cover the global event, which contributed to promoting Bahrain in the world.
He hailed BNA media team, which was assigned to cover this important Bahraini and international event, through special coverage, reports, news and press intrerviews with senior local, Arab and foreign personalities and officials in charge of of BIAS pavilions and officials of companies taking part in the exhibition as well as visitors.
“BNA photographers took around 8000 pictures which were posted on BNA portal and social media websites and used by local, Arab and international press, reflecting Bahrain civilized image as well as marked presence on the map of international air shows”, said (NCC) Acting Chief Executive Officer, (BNA) director-general.
