BIC Chief Executive lauds good organisation of F1

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): Chief Executive of Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa took pride in the wonderful organisation of the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, pointing out the massive turnout of spectators during the first and second day of the race. In an interview with Bahrain News Agency (BNA), he described the success as the dividend of concerted national efforts of the ministries and government bodies which are considered as main and effective partners with BIC. He added that the good reputation enjoyed by Bahrain international circuit requires from all to exert every possible effort to ensure success of the event. He lauded the excellent organisation of the race, pointing out that the number of visitors has gone beyond all expectations. He expressed hope the official race tomorrow Sunday would witness a massive turnout of viewers to enjoy the exciting race. The BIC Chief Executive stressed that BIC has been keen to adopt a line-up of entertaining programmes that suit the large number of spectators and cater to different tastes and age categories. He noted an increase in the number of tickets sold this year compared to last edition which, he said, reflects the good reputation of the race.
