BIDEC media coverage discussed

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): Preparations are in full swing to hold the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC) on October 28-30, 2020.The second edition (BIDEC 2019) will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. The Ministry of Information Affairs held a joint coordination meeting with the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and discussed media preparations to ensure the coverage of the three-day event. Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and TV Affairs Abdulla Khalid Al-Dosari commended the role of the Royal Guard Commander, BIDEC High Organising Committee Chairman Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for following-up, preparations underway for the event. The meeting, which was attended by BDF Media and Moral Guidance Assistant Director Brigadier Adel Abdulatif Al-Romaihi focused on the events lined up for the exhibition and conference as well as media coordination. Al-Dosari underlined the directives issued by the Minister of Information Affairs Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi to provide all human and technical efforts to ensure outstanding BIDEC media coverage. The meeting highlighted the media plan to ensure full coverage of the events, meeting with VIP guests and keynote speakers, as well as preparations to welcome local, regional and international reporters.
