Biologic Medicines Conference kicks off

Manama, Oct. 26 (BNA): President of the Supreme Council of Health Lt. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa opened today the second edition of the Biologic Medicines Conference, in the presence of Chief Executive of the National Health Regulatory Authority Mariam Jalahma, President of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society Professor Ibrahim Al-Sara, senior officials, keynote speakers, experts and more than 500 participants from different public and private health sectors from Bahrain and beyond. In the opening session of the two-day conference, which is organized by Expression Marketing Communications at the Diplomat Hotel, the Supreme Council of Health President said the subject of biologic medicines is part of the interest of specialists concerned with mapping out health policies at the local, national and international level. He added that medications is a priority in Bahrain's health plan to optimize health services and protect the community.
