Bismillah calligraphy works on display at ECO gallery

TEHRAN,Sept.17(MNA)-- A group of veteran calligraphy masters has put their works with the central theme of Bismillah (In the Name of Allah) on display in an exhibition at the Diplomatic Gallery of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) in Tehran. Over one hundred works in different styles of calligraphy and calligraphic paintings are on sale at the exhibit, which opened last week, the gallery announced in a press release published on Sunday. Gholamhossein Amirkhani, Mohammad Salahshur, Hamid Ajami, Nasrollah Afjei, Sedaqat Jabbari, Ahmad Pilehchi and Hassan Ahangaran are among the masters whose works are on show. The tableaus have been selected by the Avay-e Baran Art and Cultural Institute in collaboration with ECI, and works are offered at prices ranging from 10 million rials (about $400) to 400 million rials ($16,000). The exhibit will be running until September 28 at the gallery located on No.10, Naz Valley, off Aqdasieh Ave.
