BJA expresses condolences on death of late Sultan Qaboos

Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA): Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) expressed condolences to its Omani counterpart on the death of late Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman, the pioneer of Oman’s renaissance and founder of the modern sultanate. BJA paid homage to late Sultan Qaboos, recalling his efforts in spearheading the sultanate’s comprehensive development while preserving Oman’s authenticity as well as its Arab and Gulf identity. It also stressed the remarkable contribution of late Sultan Qaboos, alongside the GCC leaders, to setting up the Gulf Cooperation Council, wishing Sultan Haitham bin Taraq bin Taimur of Oman every success in leading Oman to more growth and prosperity.
