BJA hails Bahrain's development strides, reforms

Manama, Dec. 16 (BNA): The Bahrain Journalists’ Association (BJA) has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the National Day and the Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne. In a statement, BJA asserted that the National Days provide an opportunity for every Bahrain to express their pride in the leadership of HM the King, whose Reform Project has transformed the kingdom into a developed country, as reflected in its very high growth rates, and success in topping Arab countries in the field of human development. BJA extended deepest congratulations to the Bahraini people on the National Days, wishing Bahrain everlasting progress and prosperity, under HM the King’s leadership. In the statement, BJA President, Ahdeya Ahmed Al-Sayed, also said that the kingdom is marking its glorious National Day following its success in overcoming various crises and implementing numerous development and modernization projects across various fields. She asserted that Bahrain has made major strides in the fields of political and democratic development, human rights protection and sustainable economic and human development, which enabled it to be a leader in the Arab world in achieving all UN goals for many years, and contributed to enhancing its status at regional and international gatherings. Ahdeya Ahmed Al-Sayed affirmed that Bahrain is on the right track thanks to its well-thought-out long-term plans, as reflected in the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 aiming to achieve its future development plans and visions according to the principles of fairness and competitiveness. She added that the kingdom is witnessing a pioneering democratic experience consolidated by an atmosphere of freedom, openness, citizenship and human rights, noting that Bahrain’s progress and reforms have earned it international acclaim and admiration.
