BJA mourns Saudi journalist

Manama, May 14 (BNA): The Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) has offered warmest condolences to the Saudi and GCC press community following the sad demise of key media figure, Turki Al-Sudairi, the "Dean of Saudi and GCC journalism" after years of giving and defence of freedoms, the journalism profession and the journalists' dignity. In a statement issued today, BJA said it had lost one of the most prominent journalists, adding that Saudi and Arab press community has lost a key media figure whose contributions would not be forgotten. BJA asserted that the late journalist's stances towards Bahrain were exemplary in strengthening unity against everything that poses a threat to the region's security and stability. BJA said it is mourning the bereaved on behalf of the Bahraini media and press personnel, and prayed to Allah the Almighty to his soul in eternal peace.
