BJA president hails late Premier’s support to the press

Manama, Nov.11 (BNA): Bahrain Journalists Society (BJA) President Ahdeya Al-Sayyed expressed sincere condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister over the demise of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, who passed away this morning. She also extended deepest condolences to the Royal Family, and to the loyal people of Bahrain, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of late HRH the Premier in vast paradise. The BJA President expressed deep sadness for the demise of HRH the Premier, highlighting his keenness on celebrating the World Press Freedom Day and supporting the press to continue assuming its role as a pillar of community harmony and cohesion and the cornerstone of national unity.
