BJA produces documentary on Bahraini women's achievements

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): Head of the Women’s Committee at the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), Noura Al-Mansoori, has extended sincere congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the Bahraini Women’s Day 2021, which is celebrated on December 1. Al-Mansouri announced that BJA had produced a short documentary film on the Bahraini women’s role in the kingdom’s development march, and their landmark contributions to the media sector, noting that a study conducted by BJA’s Women’s Committee will reveal Bahraini women’s effective presence in the media field. She asserted that Bahraini Women’s Day is marked in tribute to women’s achievements, noting that they enjoy the royal interest and care for their dedication and effective participation in building the nation and enhancing its progress. She affirmed that the comprehensive development march, spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has consolidated the kingdom’s experience in empowering and advancing Bahraini women, enabling them to play a pioneering role in the nation’s development march, and reach leading positions.
