BMA celebrates 42nd anniversary

BANGKOK, December 14 (TNA) - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) on Saturday celebrates the 42nd anniversary of its establishment as a special administrative body governing the thai capital. Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra, along with senior BMA officials, made merit on Saturday morning by offering breakfast and alms to 142 Buddhist monks at the BMA head office, marking the auspicious occasion. The BMA also offered a free medical check-up to the public, as its officials helped clean temples and canals in the capital.(TNA)
