BNA organises training session

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): Bahrain News Agency (BNA)'s Centre for Media Skills Development organised a training session themed "Organising Press Conferences between Theory and Practice" which was presented by BNA Editor-in-Chief Hind Karam. Employees from the media and public relations departments at ministries and government institutions took part in the two-day event held on February 20 and 21. The session cast light on concepts and procedures related to organising press conferences. Participants were also informed about the steps taken in organising a successful press conference in terms of logistic, technical and organisational equipment as well as good journalistic coverage. BNA Acting Director Abdullah Khalil Buhijji presented certificates to the participants who expressed thanks and respect for the training session. The organisation of the session is part of the strategic plan of the Ministry of Information to enhance capabilities and enable government employees to exchange experiences.
