Book reviewing 30 editions of Fajr filmfest published

TEHRAN,Feb.11(MNA) -- A book reviewing the past 30 editions of the Fajr International Film Festival was recently published in Tehran. Entitled “A review of the Fajr International Film Festival over the Past 30 Years”, the book was unveiled during a ceremony at Milad Tower on Friday. The secretary of the 31st Fajr International Film Festival Mohammadreza Abbasian and several other officials attended the ceremony. The photos used in the book were compiled by a twenty-member group in three months, a compiler Masud Najafi said. “As a journalist, I always felt the need for a source for the past editions of the festival,” he said. The book will meet the need for the source, he added. The 31st Fajr International Film Festival, which is Iran’s most important event in the motion picture industry, came to end last night. The winners of event will be announced on Tuesday.
