Book on Russian traditions published in Persian

TEHRAN,Nov.13(MNA) – A book exploring social rituals and lifestyle in Russia has been published in Persian in Tehran. Entitled “Russia: Rituals and Traditions”, the book was written by Abuzar Ebrahimi-Torkaman and Mahnaz Noruzi, Alhoda International Publications announced on Monday. Ebrahimi-Torkaman is Iran’s cultural attaché in Moscow. The book contains material about life, religious and national rituals in Russia during the past and present. Ebrahimi-Torkaman and Noruzi used several Russian encyclopedias and many other sources to write the book. The book also carries a brief bibliography about Russia. Russian lifestyle, mourning rituals, family customs, traditions, beliefs and superstitions, and cuisines are discussed in this book. The book also dedicates some chapters to Russian cultural attractions.
