Book of Tajik folktales published in Tehran
TEHRAN,June 30(MNA) -- The Persian version of a collection of Tajik folktales entitled “Rostam Jan and Aftab Khan” by Hikmet Nemat has been published in Iran.
Translated by Saeid and Raheleh Fazelijah into Persian, the book will be unveiled during a ceremony at the Melal Cultural Center on Sunday.
Tajik expert Shahmansour Shahmirza Khajaev and literary critic Hassan Gharibi will attend the ceremony to discuss the book, which was printed by the Falsafeh Publications.
“The Courage Girl”, “Pahlavan Salim”, “Iraj, the Demon-Killer”, “Three Brothers” and “Bahram and Bahman” are among the ten folktales of the book.
The center will also organize an exhibition of Tajik handicraft on the sidelines of the ceremony.
The Melal Cultural Center is located in Qeytarieh Park in northeastern Tehran.
