Boost to Bahrain-S. Korea cooperation

Seoul, Mar. 7 (BNA): Supreme Council for Health (SCH) President Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa expressed utmost gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, lauding the leadership's directives in boosting the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dr. Shaikh Mohammed hailed the efforts of the Executive Committee presided over by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister; along with the Ministerial Committee for Financial Affairs and Expenditure Control chaired by Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, all the ministries and establishments which support the Health Insurance Plan, the Public Health Informatics Committee, as well as all efforts that reflect the huge support and diligence on the initiatives for development of the Kingdom's health sector.
Dr. Shaikh Mohammed has attended the signing ceremony in the South Korean capital Seoul for the health cooperation agreement between the Kingdom of Bahrain's Supreme Council for Health and the Korean Health Evaluation and Revision Authority (HERA) in the presences of SCH's Secretary-general Ibrahim Al Nawakhtha, Bahrain's Ambassador to S. Korea Anwar Yousef Abdullah, and Seoul-based ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The agreement covers the provision of informatics systems for the Kingdom's Health Insurance Information Systems (HIIS), Drug Utilization Review (DUR) and the National Electronic Medical File (NEMR).
