Boosting Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations reviewed

Manama, May 9 (BNA): The Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, today at Dasman Palace, received His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. His Highness Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister, Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, were present. HRH the Prime Minister hailed the contributions of the Amir of Kuwait to humanitarian work at the regional and global levels. He exchanged Ramadan greetings with the Amir of Kuwait, praying to Almighty God to return the blessed occasion many years to come. HRH the Prime Minister conveyed greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Amir of Kuwait, stressing keenness to constantly promote the deep-rooted bilateral relations to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and their people. The historical ties between the two countries were reviewed, as well as the bilateral and Gulf cooperation. The two sides highlighted the depth of the solid bilateral relations and resolve to develop them in various fields. They stressed to continue coordination and consultation to serve common interests. They point out the significance of coordination meetings in boosting the bilateral relations and cooperation. HRH the Prime Minister noted the development seen by Kuwait in various fields, expressing appreciation of the Kuwaiti stances supportive to the Kingdom of Bahrain, which accentuate the depth of the relations between the two countries and their people. He expressed thanks for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. The Amir of Kuwait hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of HRH the Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation, which was also attended by Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Prime Minister and a number of senior officials.
