Boukhari shares aiding displaced Syrians in Iklim Kharroub

NNA - Charge d'Affaires of Saudi Embassy in Beirut, Walid Boukhari, on Tuesday shared the campaign under name "Saudi national campaign to support Syrian people,"organized to aid displaced Syrians in Iklim Al Kharroub, at Barja vocational school, with the presence of the director of said campaign Walid Al Jalal and a number of religious figures. Bukhari said that his country would always seek to support the displaced people and Lebanon and would never abandon the country. "We would like to thank Lebanon for the recent visit of President Michel Aoun to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We hope that there would be soon reciprocal visits in favor of setting up joint programs for Lebanon." He pointed out to the importance of the meetings that were held between Lebanese and Saudi officials in President's Aoun visit to the Kingdom, stressing that his country "will not abandon Lebanon" and underscoring "the importance of the bilateral relation regarding the file of displaced Syrians." Afterwards, Boukhari was handed shields of appreciation.
