British Premier pays homage to late Prime Minister

London, Nov.11 (BNA): UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa had presided over the Government during a period of great change in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He issued an official statement in which he expressed his condolences, crediting HRH the Prime Minister for Bahrain’s high-levels of education, economic and infrastructure and development and standard of living. The British Premier commended the Premier’s keenness on on bilateral relations binding the two friendly countries and peoples, adding the historical ties would continue to be a positive foce for cooperation and partnership in the future. UK Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Roddy Drummond expressed his deep sadness and sincere condolences. “We mourn HRH the Premier as a statesman and true friend to the UK, he said on his official twitter account. The UK Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain announced on its official twitter account that the UK flag would be flown at half mast at the diplomatic mission.
