British Premier visits Riffa Fort

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): British Prime Minister Theresa May expressed happiness about visiting Bahrain and getting acquainted with a number of outstanding Bahraini youngsters in various fields. During a visit to Riffa Fort, she praised the Bahraini talents which, she said, will contribute to further bolstering relations between both countries. She also lauded the 200-year relations between Bahrain and the UK, pointing out agreements signed by both countries. She also expressed keenness on further promoting bilateral relations in various fields. On his part, Southern Governor Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa welcomed the British Premier and her accompanying delegation, affirming that the visit comes at a very crucial time. He also underscored strong cooperation between both countries, voicing keenness on continuity of bilateral relations for the best interest of both countries.
