BTC transports 2.4 million tons of Azerbaijani oil in August, 2013

Baku, September 11 (AzerTAc). In August, 2013 some 2,480,050 tons of Azerbaijani oil was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline. According to SOCAR, some 20,220,005 tons of oil were transported through this pipeline during January-August 2013. Since the start-up the pipeline has shipped 225,671,819 million tons of crude. The pipeline also exported some 201,401 tons of Turkmen oil in the reported period.
